PRAYERS
Please pray for the sick of the parish - especially
Anna Painter who is now home
but continues to ask for our prayers, for Maria
Calnan, Mary Mahon who has returned to
Ireland for a period of assessment, also for Anne
King, Theresa Sharpe, daughter of Anne
and Norman Sharpe, Violet Kemp
and Pauline Davies who are all
in hospital and are in need of our prayers. We
have just heard that Gladys Kelly,
a former prominent member of the Union of Catholic
Mothers, has died. Her Requiem Mass is this Thursday
14 August 12noon at St Thomas’s
in Canterbury. May she truly rest in
peace.

anticipating the resurrection of all the members
